The wedding season is in full swing, and actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram are the latest couple to join the married club. Known for their work in Bollywood, the couple reportedly tied the knot on November 29, 2023, in a traditional Meitei wedding in Imphal, Manipur.
A Look at Their Bollywood Journey
Randeep Hooda has gained recognition through his roles in hit films like "Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai," "Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster," "Highway," and "Sarbjit." On the other hand, Lin Laishram made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with "Om Shanti Om" and has appeared in other notable films such as "Mary Kom," "Umrika," "Qaidi Band," and "Axone."

Although Randeep and Lin never publicly confirmed their relationship, Randeep took to Instagram in October 2022 to make it official. He shared photos of himself, Lin, and his parents celebrating Diwali, giving fans a glimpse into their love story.
The Wedding Details
The wedding rituals took place at the Chumthang Shannapung resort in Imphal. Randeep adorned traditional white attire as a Manipuri groom, surrounded by his family and relatives. Lin, dressed as a traditional Manipuri bride, wore a Potloi or Polloi, a cylindrical skirt made of thick cloth and bamboo. Her attire featured ornamentation with satin, velvet material, gems, and glitter.
A Cultural Exchange
Before the wedding, Randeep and Lin, along with their families, visited the Relief Camp at Moirang Lamkhai and Sendra Tourist Resort. Randeep expressed his excitement about experiencing the Manipuri tradition and respecting Lin's culture. He shared, "I want to experience my life partner's culture. That's why I am here."
Looking Towards the Future
Randeep expressed his hopes for a happy future with Lin and even joked about the groom's long wait during Meitei love marriages. He said, "I hope I don't make any mistakes. It's east meets west. It's like a traditional or cultural exchange. We have been friends for a very long time. We met when we were in the theaters. Since then, we have had a great friendship, which we are now making into a family."
What's Next for Randeep Hooda?
Randeep Hooda recently appeared in the film "Sergeant" and is now gearing up for his next project, "Swatantra Veer Savarkar," a biopic of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar.
