Ranbir Kapoor’s Latest Film “Animal” Leaves Viewers on the Edge of Their Seats
The Ending Leaves Fans Intrigued for a Possible Sequel
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest film, Animal, has captivated audiences with its thrilling mix of familial revenge and gruesome violence. Ranbir Kapoor's character, Ranvijay Balbir Singh, takes viewers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, leaving them on the edge of their seats. But it's the open-ended ending that has everyone talking, especially the post-credit scene that introduces a new character, Aziz, who is hinted as the next villain in the upcoming sequel titled Animal Park.
Tripti Dimri Shines in an Important Plot Twist
Among the stellar cast of Animal, Tripti Dimri emerges as a standout performer, delivering a powerful performance that adds an unexpected twist to the story. Her character plays a crucial role in the death of Abrar Haque, but before we dive into the details, let's explore what leads to this brutal demise.
A Story of Strained Relationships and Violent Vengeance
The central theme of Animal revolves around the strained relationship between Balbir Singh (played by Anil Kapoor) and his son, Ranvijay. Balbir's relentless pursuit of success with his company, Swastik Steel, causes him to lose touch with his son's emotional needs. Ranvijay's desperate attempts for validation are met with contempt, pushing him to take matters into his own hands to protect his family in his father's absence.
However, Ranvijay's violent methods are met with extreme disgust and scrutiny, exemplified by an incident where he brings a gun to his sister's college to confront her bullies. After a series of events involving conflicts with Varun, his sister's husband and a colleague at Swastik Steel, Ranvijay promises his father to leave Varun alone. He also introduces his to-be wife, Geethanjali, before leaving the family.
Unexpected Twists and Acts of Revenge
Just when things seem to settle down, an unexpected twist changes the arc of the entire movie. Balbir Singh is shot twice by an unknown assailant, prompting Ranvijay to return home and make it his mission to find the culprit and seek revenge. Soon, he discovers that Varun is part of a larger conspiracy against his family and takes his first act of revenge by cold-bloodedly killing him.
This sets off a cat-and-mouse chase, with Ranvijay brutally killing one of the Haque brothers before learning about their deep-rooted family feud with Balbir Singh. The Haque brothers, driven by their grandfather's expulsion from the family business and their own personal vendettas, seek to make Balbir and his family suffer. Their plan includes creating a clone of Ranvijay to carry out the most brutal killings possible, ensuring that their loved ones witness their demise.
Aziz, the Clone, Takes Center Stage
As the post-credit scene rolls in, viewers are introduced to Aziz, the clone of Ranvijay. This new character wastes no time in making his presence known, killing two of Ranvijay's close security personnel. With this cliffhanger ending, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Animal Park, the rumored sequel that promises more thrills and surprises.
When she's not busy writing about the latest happenings in the world of cinema, you can find Tripti Dimri exploring the hidden gems of Delhi.
